I have a situation that is totally unique to me in the ex-JW community, or at least extremely uncommon. I am going to use it to my advantage. I may write about it later to elucidate my situation, and how I accomplished what I am going to do, but for now I need to keep it close to the vest. Those that do know what I am talking about, please do not "spill the beans" until I can freely tell my story.

some guys visited me a couple of times, and i asked them about the book of revelation.
one of them brought me a red book with a lot of illustrations and at the end of every page or so the guy had dated the day he had read it.
he also marked certain passages.

true believers, whether christian, muslim or whatever, want to convert you, they want you to believe what they do, and they're willing to go to extremes to make it happen.
atheists don't really care what you believe, and don't go out of their way to convert someone.. http://ow.ly/vn1jz an example of what believers in power do to suppress any difference in thought.

just to share a little about me:.
i was recently appointed an elder, about 6 months ago now, and that is exactly two years after my awakenning, but funny that the appointment came also about 2 years after i had completely lost all faith in god and had been leading a full time anti-jw life .
makes you wonder the role of the holy spirit in the entire nomination or appointment process.. .
His Excellency is full of bovine excrement. If you examine his history, he started out saying he was from a third world country that they only make 50 cents a day in. I have no idea if anything he says has been the truth.

I see no problem with anyone's beliefs, as long as they do not try to convert me to their point of view. I certainly do not see the need to have everyone agree with mine either. I think those that do are just insecure, and want validation. No one needs to save my ass.
